Microsoft has revealed details of a ‘extremely dangerous security loop’ in the TikTok app, affecting Android users, where the gap may allow hackers to steal personal data.
“Hackers can take advantage of the security loop to hijack an account without users’ awareness if the targeted user simply clicks on a link specifically for that,” said Dimitrios Valsamaras of Microsoft 365 Defender.
